Aletheia Impact: A WordPress Grant Application Website Launched on Time

The deadline was tight. Aletheia Impact needed a professional website for a new environmental initiative, with a complex grant application process ready for launch. While content, designs and requirements continued to change, Ace Web Studio developed the WordPress site, implemented a multi-step application form and tested the submission journey. The result was a fast, responsive website delivered within the required timeframe.

The challenge

For Aletheia Impact, the website had a specific launch requirement: introduce the initiative and enable organisations to submit grant applications. Its work supports early-stage climate businesses in Pakistan, so the public site also needed to explain the opportunity to prospective applicants.

Time was limited throughout. Content and design changes arrived frequently, requirements evolved, and the application form added technical complexity to an already demanding schedule.

Meeting the deadline meant delivering both the website and its application journey. A finished set of pages alone wouldn’t fulfil the brief; applicants needed a structured way to provide their information, while the client needed a reliable process behind that interface.

What we discovered

The application needed particular attention. Alongside the website build, Ace investigated how a multi-step form could connect with Airtable to support the collection and management of grant applications.

That investigation focused on data handling, form reliability and integration behaviour. The form and the receiving system had to be considered together, with testing extending beyond how the individual screens looked.

During the work, the team also investigated submission issues and tested the application process. Those checks were part of establishing whether the implementation worked correctly, rather than treating the presence of a submit button as evidence that the journey was complete.

How we approached the solution

  1. Develop the website around the launch requirement. Ace built the website in WordPress, using PHP, HTML and JavaScript on a managed LiteSpeed server. The development work supported the initiative’s public presence and its grant application process, keeping both requirements within the delivery scope.
  2. Implement the multi-step application form. The team translated the complex application requirements into a structured online form. The implementation gave applicants a sequence of stages to work through. Ace also investigated the Airtable connection and its data-handling behaviour as part of the application work.
  3. Accommodate changes during development. As content, designs and requirements evolved, Ace incorporated numerous last-minute revisions. The work continued against the required launch timeframe, with the application process remaining an essential part of the deliverable.
  4. Test the site and submission journey. Across browsers and devices, the team conducted extensive testing of the website and application interface. Submission issues received further investigation, and the application process was tested to check that it worked correctly.

The result

The website launched on time. Aletheia Impact received a professional, fast and responsive WordPress website, with its multi-step application form implemented and successfully tested within the required timeframe.

For the initiative, that delivery established an online presence and provided a structured route for organisations to submit grant applications. The completed work can be seen on the Aletheia Impact website, including its public application interface and responsive layout.

What other website owners can learn

Test the whole process. When a website needs to collect detailed applications, the sequence of form screens is only one part of the work; data handling, integrations and submission behaviour need attention too.

This project shows why those checks belong within the launch plan, even when requirements keep changing. If you’re commissioning a similar site, define the application journey alongside the public pages, allow time to investigate submission issues and check the experience across browsers and devices. Judge readiness by the completed process.
