Portman Mansions website and object-oriented CSS

Nov 10, 2010

Currently discussing the renovation of Portman Mansions website. The plan is to update the design (make it more Web 2.0-like) and improve the user journey. They want to upload more documentation as well. We will be redeveloping CSS to make it more reusable for future designs.  I just came across a very interesting presentation about object-oriented CSS: http://www.slideshare.net/stubbornella/object-oriented-css I think it's brilliant! This is definitely the way to go. We'll try to implement this on Portman Mansions website.

Very interesting, although maybe will be to difficult to implement truly object-oriented css in real commercial web development.
